Julia Emilia Bouley 103, died May 24, 2019 at Universal Health Care, Bolivia, N.C. She was born September 19, 1915 in West Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Letizia (Raffinetti) and Andrew Mori. Julia graduated pro merito from West Springfield High School. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Francis N. Bouley and also her brother Henry and sister Vera. Survivors include her daughter Francine Bouley Becklo, her son in law Michael Becklo, her grandson Alex Becklo, 6 nephews, and 4 nieces. During World War II Julia worked at American Bosch assembling a part for U.S. Military airplanes produced by Boeing Aircraft. Through mutual friends, Julia met Francis Bouley, who had recently returned from serving in the World War II Army infantry in Europe. They married on July 1, 1950. Some years later Julia worked as a Revlon representative in Forbes & Wallace department store for several enjoyable years. She moved to Southport, North Carolina in 2014 to be closer to her daughter and family. They spent 7 precious years together. Julia enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, cake decorating and needlework. She especially loved road trips with her family to the beach and the mountains. She always said the key to a long life is "to look forward to every day". Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday, June 18 th from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. followed by Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 11:00am. The burial will take place in St. Thomas Cemetery. For more details please visit curranjones.com.
