Karen L. (Griffin) Malloch, 52, passed peacefully on Tuesday November
14th 2017 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was born in Springfield and has
resided in Agawam for most of her life. She graduated from Longmeadow High
School and spent most of her working life caring for others. She loved reading,
gardening, travel, and good company. She laughed, loved, and lived boldly and
brightly. Karen leaves her husband Bart Malloch, her mother Nancy Greenwood of
Westfield, three daughters Amy Henrikson and her partner Krystal Cogar of Ware,
Sarah Henrikson and her partner Eric Baskerville of Richmond, VA, Kelly McDaid of
Westfield, and her first love James Henrikson and his parents Joan and Ken
Henrikson of Longmeadow. Karen also leaves a long list of friends who she held
dear to her heart as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren from
her extended family. Karen's final cherished joy was meeting and loving her first
grandson Nathan James Baskerville. Calling hours will be Sunday November 19th
at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home from 2:00 to 5:00pm. Burial
