West Springfield – Katherine R. (Doyle) Cauley, 75, died peacefully Wednesday morning surrounded by her loving family.  Katherine grew up in the Hungry Hill Section of Springfield and has lived in West Springfield most of her life.  She graduated from Cathedral High School and received her accounting degree from H.C.C. Katherine started her career with New England Telephone and retired from Callaway Golf, where she worked as an International Buyer.  She also volunteered at the local senior centers with the AARP Tax Program, where she volunteered doing the taxes for many senior citizens. Katherine received the "Citizen of the Year" award in West Springfield in 2019.  She was a lifelong dog lover, enjoyed golfing, reading and was a classic movie buff. She leaves her two sons; Michael "Mike" Cauley of West Springfield and his companion Erica Robinson and Joseph "Joe" Cauley and his wife Taylor of Agawam; her three grandchildren Griffin, Lauren, and John Cauley; a sister-in-law Nan Doyle and a best friend Joan Bourgeois.  Katherine was predeceased by her two brothers Richard and Edward Doyle.  Katherine's sons would like to especially thank Nan and Joan for their dedication and care they provided Kathy over the last few months. Visiting Hours will be held at the WEST SPRINGFIELD CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 109 MAIN ST, on Friday, June 6th from 9:30 – 11:00 AM followed by A Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine St., W.
