Katherine M. Vergnani

1921 – 2017

AGAWAM – Katherine M. (Kane) Vergnani, 95, passed away Sunday December 3, 2017 at home.  She was the daughter of the late James and Katherine (Cebrelli) Kane.  Katherine was married to the late Leo H. Vergnani.  She helped her husband to establish a fence installation business which later became Hampden Fence Supply in Agawam.  She worked at Betty's in the Patch for some time in the sixties.  She liked selling her wares at craft shows.  Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her children, sons Leo J. Vergnani and Peter Vergnani.   A sister died in infancy.  She is survived by her daughter-in-law Susan Vergnani of Feeding Hills, grandchildren James Vergnani of Feeding Hills, Gina Clark of Greenfield, and Michael Faulkner of Manchester, CT, eight great grandchildren, Ethan and Tim Glover, Carissa, Sophia and Eveline Vergnani, Delaney Rose, Isabella Rose and Brendan Wesley Faulkner.  The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday at noon followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral home service Thursday from 11:00am – Noon.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.
