Kathryn Louise (Sinkovich) Gonet, 98, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at home in Feeding Hills, MA.  Born in Youngstown, OH, daughter of the late John and Barbara Sinkovich, she graduated from Youngstown University with a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree, Cum Laude.  She went on to graduate from nursing school at St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in Youngstown, OH and became a registered nurse.   She worked for many years at the West Springfield Nursing Home and Heritage Hall Nursing Home before retiring in 1989.  She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills, MA.  She leaves her husband of fifty-fouryears, Lewis John Gonet, seven nephews, Robert and his wife Carol Sinkovich of Ohio, David Sinkovich of Ohio, Joseph Sinkovich of North Carolina, William P. Gonet of Westfield, John C. Gonet of Southwick, Thomas G. Gonet and Roger L. Gonet both of Agawam, four nieces, Peggy Stevens, Mary Lou Favich, Evelyn and her husband James Felch of Bradenton, FL, Dorothy and her husband Edward Gulla of Brandeton, FL and many other nephews.  Her husband would like to thank Abee Ikah for her dedication in caring for his beloved Kay.  The funeral will be Tuesday at 9am from the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10am.
