Kazimiera Grabowiec
1932 – 2019

FEEDING HILLS – Kazimiera (Urbanek) Grabowiec, 87, died peacefully Sunday, August 4, 2019. She was born in Krosno, Poland, June 17, 1932 the daughter of the late Jozef and Maria (Ferus) Urbanek. Kazimiera worked for many years at Oak Ridge Golf Club and enjoyed reading, going for long walks, playing with animals and spending time with family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Stanislaw Grabowiec; her two sons Waclaw and Jerzy; and a daughter-in-law Elizabeth. She leaves her son Tadeusz "Edju" Grabowiec and his wife Teresa; a brother Stanislaw and his wife Helena; seven grandchildren; Monika, Tomek, Adam, Michael, Daniel, Bartek and Maciek; and two great grandchildren. Kazimiera will be missed by many but not forgotten. Visiting hours will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:30pm. Family and friends are invited to meet for the Liturgy of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church, Elm Street, Westfield on Thursday at 10:30am. The burial will be in Poland at a later date.
