WEST SPRINGFIELD - Kenneth S. Hastings, 65, died Saturday, June 26, 2021 at home. He is survived by his mother Ruth "Holly" (Darling) Hastings, his brother, Andrew Hastings and his wife Stacia of Westfield, his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hastings of Royalston, MA, and his nephews, Matthew Hastings of Westfield, Jesse Hastings and his partner Christiane Leger of Greenfield, and Benjamin Weaver and his partner Liana Rodier of Cambridge. Ken was predeceased by his father Bartlett Hastings in 2016 and his brother Glenn on June 24, 2021. Ken was pleasantly surprised recently to discover he had a daughter, Noel Cherubino Chemlen and two lovely grandchildren, Massimo and Leonardo and he cherished the time he had getting to know them. Ken was a man of many talents and could be called upon to fix anything and was always quick with a joke. He loved cooking which was especially useful as he cared for his parents in their later years. He was taken too young and will be missed dearly. Visiting hours will be held at Curran Jones Funeral Home 109 Main Street, West Springfield, MA on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 1-3 with a prayer service following at 3.
