Springfield – Kerri A. Kennedy, 43, died unexpectedly on Thursday. Kerri was born in Springfield; she grew up in Springfield, graduating from Putnam High School. She was an avid animal lover and loved to ride horses and play with her dogs. She leaves her father Patrick Kennedy and his wife Carol; her mother Judith McGuy; two brothers Kevin Kennedy and his wife Andrea and Kenneth Varney and his wife Linda; her aunts Jane McGuy and Eileen Kelly; an uncle John Russell, several nieces and nephews and a dear friend Joe Bilodeau. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church, Plumtree Road, Springfield, Thursday at 9:30am. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Massachusetts Center for SIDS c/o Boston Medical Center One Boston Medical Center Place, Boston, MA 02118
