Kevin Patrick Chapman, 71 died peacefully Saturday evening in his bed at home.  Kevin was born in Springfield, the son of the late Kenneth and Julia (Nallett) Chapman and has lived in West Springfield most of his life.  He worked as a Regional Manager for Food Bag Convenience Stores.  He was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and served on the West Springfield Auxiliary Police Force.  He leaves his son Craig Chapman and his fiancé Kristy Lindsey; three granddaughters, Aubrey Chapman, Kayla Lindsey and Alyssa Lindsey; two brothers David and his wife Catherine and Thomas and his wife Christine; nieces and nephews, Ken Chapman and his wife Alicia, Kelly Rien and her husband Doug,  Thomas "TJ" Chapman, and Jeff Chapman and great nieces and nephews David "DJ", Allison "Alley", Samantha, Savvy and Dylan.  Besides his parents Kevin was predeceased by a brother Kenneth "KC" Chapman.  A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at a time to be announced.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to Craig's Thunderbird Sled Hockey Team, c/o: https://app.etapestry.com.
