Kevin Patrick Fitzgerald, 45, of Agawam, MA, beloved son of Gerald and Linda (Hartzell) Fitzgerald, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2018. He was born in Springfield and grew up in Sixteen Acres. He attended STCC where he was co-captain of the soccer team when they competed in the MCCAC State Soccer Championship in 1992. He graduated from UMass Amherst in 1996. He was previously employed at State Street Financial in Boston. Kev had a kind spirit known by all, especially his large, extended group of friends who were like family. Friendly forest forever! His quick wit, infectious laugh and smile will always be with us. He was an avid Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins fan and enjoyed attending many games. He leaves his wife, Megan Connolly Fitzgerald and the light of his life, Declan Patrick, of West Bridgewater, MA. In addition, he leaves his brothers and sisters Kathy (Tim) Savoy, Krisi Fitzgerald, Steven (Trina) Fitzgerald, Karen Meader, Michael (Diane) Fitzgerald and Jerry (Noreen) Fitzgerald. Also many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, his aunt Shirley Fitzgerald, his uncle Glen Hartzell and his many loving cousins. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 4-6pm with a service at 6pm at Curran-Jones Funeral Home in Agawam, MA.
