Rio Rancho, NM – Lance K. Tise, 56, formerly of West Springfield died peacefully with his loving wife of 25 years by his side on July 1, 2017. Lance was born in Springfield, grew up and lived in West Springfield most of his life before moving to New Mexico in 2003. He was a graduate of West Springfield High School and Holyoke Community College and received specialized training in Personal Security and Private Investigations at Waldron Corporation of Chesapeake, VA. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Holyoke, and member of the Fraternal Order of Freemasons and the Elks Club. In Massachusetts, Lance was a Constable and Justice of Peace, as well as Private Investigator. In New Mexico, he was a former Clerk of Courts and Security Manager. He leaves his devoted wife, Debra Jean (LaMay) Tise; Uncle William R. Tise and his wife Priscilla (Pat), Father-in-Law Richard A. LaMay, Sr., Brother-in-Law Richard A. LaMay Jr., "Sister" Karen LaGue and close friends, Marcia Morgan, Ellie Therrien and Carol Boisvert and Marilyn Salzman. At home, Lance also leaves his 7 dogs, a rabbit, cat, and bird, all who he loved so dearly. A private graveside service was held in Paucatuck Cemetery. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
