Laura M. (Dagesse) Barber, 76, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 3, 2025.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Richard and Catherine (Condron) Dagesse, she grew up in Agawam and attended Agawam High School. She worked for twenty-five years at Hallmark Cards, and enjoyed bowling, going to the casino and her cats. She lived in Chicopee for the last twenty-five years.  She was predeceased by a son, Robert C. Barber  in 2018 and her fiance, Raymond Couture in 2007.  She leaves a son, Thomas E. Barber of Chicopee, two brothers, Richard Dagesse of Holyoke, Anthony J. Dagesse of Agawam, two sisters, Rosemary White, Terese Cataldo both of West Springfield, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three nieces and two nephews. Calling hours are Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 12-2pm at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Funeral Home Service at 2pm.
