Larry A. Menard
1926 – 2019

South Hadley - Laurent A. Menard, 92 of South Hadley entered into eternal rest on Saturday April 27, 2019. Larry was the beloved husband for 67 years to Jeanne (Dulude) Menard who passed away February 24, 2016. He was born on October 12, 1926 in Sherrington, Quebec, the son of the late Regina & Oscar Menard. Larry was predeceased by his sisters and brothers: Alice, Annette & Eddie, Fernande & Pierre, Gerald & Ruth, Roger & Claire, Marcel & Joyce, Grace, Raymond & Maureen. He served his country in the Army in WWII, and worked for General Electric until his retirement in 1987. He is survived by his children, Dennis & Nancy Menard of Westfield, Laurent & RoseAnn Menard of Somers, Ct, Diane & Tom Casey of Ludlow, Robert Menard of South Hadley, Jim & Lisa Menard of South Hadley, and his thirteen grandchildren: Erin, Craig, Sharon, Marie, Adam, Lauren, Bethany, Jessica, Ryan, Kevin, Benjamin, Christopher and Claudia. He also leaves twelve great grandchildren: Tyler, Zachary, Jacob, Elise, Patrick, Katherine, Jayme, Jason, Ayden, Samuel, Emilie, and Mantis. Besides his children he is survived by his in-laws Wilfred Delude, and Joe & Trudy Dulude all of Chicopee and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Relatives and friends may gather with his family at St. Patrick's Parish in South Hadley Wednesday, May 1st at 12:30pm. The burial will follow in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery.
