Obituary

Laurinda G. (Santos) Connors, 81, of Gooseberry Road died Sunday at home. Laurinda was born and raised in North Easton and has lived in West Springfield for the past 55 years. She was a longtime communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Her husband, Edward Connors died in 1996. She leaves a son Patrick and his wife Sharon of East Longmeadow, a daughter Carol Cadder of Newington, CT, a sister Elizabeth Franco Rose of North Easton and four grandchildren, Brenda and Gloria Cadder, Andrea Whalen and Aimee Mueller. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Laurinda's caregivers. Their hard work, dedication and TLC made it possible for her to remain in her own home. The funeral will be held Thursday from the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street with calling hours from 10:30 to 11:30 am followed by Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 12 noon.
