Lawrence M. Grady, 76, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 8, 2026 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, son of the late R. Kenneth and Elizabeth L. (Reilley) Grady, he was a lifelong resident of Agawam and a 1967 graduate of Agawam High School. He also went to East Coast Aero Tech School. Lawrence worked for over thirty years as a fire fighter and EMT for the Town of Agawam, retiring as a Lieutenant. He had also worked at Sarat Ford. He leaves his wife, Maria R. (Bellame) Grady, a daughter, Erin E. Ciechowski of Ft. Mill, SC, a brother, R. Kenneth Grady, Jr. of Feeding Hills, a sister, Barbara E. Tessicini of Agawam, two grandchildren, Jace Ciechowski, Sorelle Ciechowski, two nephews, R. Kenneth Grady, III, Mark Tessicini, two nieces, Corinne Rolland, Dina Sibilia, and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Calling hours are Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 4-7pm at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street. There is no funeral service.
