1932 – 2017

FEEDING HILLS – Lawrence G. Paro, 85, of Feeding Hills passed away on July 12, 2017, at home, surrounded by his family.  Larry was born in Agawam on July 9, 1932, the son of the late Ernest and Rhea (Visneau) Paro. A life long resident of Agawam, Larry was a mason, carpenter and home builder. A Korean War Veteran, he served with the United States Army and was a life member of the American Legion Post #185 and of the West Springfield Fish and Game Club.  He leaves his wife of 62 years, Lorraine (Cusson) Paro; three children, Gary S. Paro and his wife Marilyn, Dawn R. Terrill, and Kevin E. Paro and his wife Christine; two sisters, Edna Shibley and Lillian Scibelli; four grandchildren, Laura, Michelle, Surina and Kyle; and 5 great grandchildren. A committal service will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery Wednesday July 19 th at 3:00pm.   The Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
