FEEDING HILLS – Leo J. Leger, 84, of Oak Lane died Saturday in a local nursing home. Leo was born in Fitchburg, one of thirteen children to Joseph and Della (Maillet) Leger. He grew up in Fitchburg and has lived in Feeding Hills since 1956. He was a United States Army veteran serving in World War II. Leo was the owner and operator of Pioneer Gymnastics in East Longmeadow retiring in 2004 and was a member and coach at the Springfield YMCA and the Springfield Turnverein. He leaves his wife of 58 years Constance M. (Levy) Leger; a brother Emil and sister Theresa. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday at 11:00am with burial at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral home service Thursday from 10:00-11:00am. For more details please visit curranjones.com.
