Leodore A. Champigny, 91, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Springfield, son of the late Armand and Henetta (Hilton) Champigny, he was a graduate of Agawam High School and lived most of his life in Agawam.  Leodore worked for over forty years for the Town of Agawam in the Department of Public Works.  He was an army veteran and enjoyed hunting, fishing  and panning for gold.  His wife, Jeanne D. (Belcher) Champigny died in 2022.  He leaves three sons, Leodore A. and his wife Leanne Champigny of  Tyler, TX, David P. and his wife Katherine Champigny of Agawam, Gerald C. Champigny of Springfield, a sister, Penny Champigny of Agawam, and four grandchildren, Sarah, Lauren, Austin and Cooper.  A service in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be Friday, November 14, 2025 at 3pm.
