Agawam-Leona (Remillard) Masi of Main Street died Friday in Heritage Hall North Nursing Home. Leona was born in Belchertown and has lived in Agawam most of her life. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish and was an avid quilter. Her husband Vincent J. Masi died in 1995. She leaves a son Vincent J. Masi and his wife Lori of Feeding Hills; four daughters Karen L. Mehmed and her husband Sami of Suffield, Susan L. Goj and her husband Peter of Florida, Nancy M. Olson and her husband Mark of Feeding Hills and Laurel L. Williams and her husband Wayne of Bellingham. She also has eight grandchildren Laurel Habgood and Anne Marie Goj, Katlyn and Erin Olson, Renee and Chris Hurteau, Marissa Masi and Shannon and Brandon Williams and four great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Sunday at 2:30pm. Calling hours are Sunday 1-2:30 pm. Burial in St. Thomas Cemetery at a later date.
