Leona Nowik, 88, died peacefully Thursday July 2 ^nd at home. She was a hard worker was a very sweet person. She truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Nicefor, her son Edmund and grandson Lukasz Rutkowski. She leaves her daughter Helena Rutkowski and her husband Stanislaw of Feeding Hills, four grandchildren Kasia Rutkowski of West Springfield, Urszula Biedrzycki and her husband Jacek of Long Island, NY, Artur Nowik and his wife Kristie of Longmeadow and Kasia Nowik of Los Angeles, CA and six great grandchildren Lucas, Kaya and Nathan Rutkowski, Jakub Biedrzycki and Chris and Lucas Nowik. The funeral will be Wednesday July 8 ^th at 9:00 am from Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by Mass in St. Stanislaus Church at 10:00 am. Burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
