Leonid Rajewski, 94, a longtime resident of Springfield passed away peacefully Wednesday February 28 ^th at Baystate Medical Center. Leonid was the son of the late Ivan and Zenaida Rajewski. He was born in Kirovograd, Ukraine. He lived in Germany and Belgium before immigrating to the United States in 1956. Leonid was employed at Smith and Wesson for 25 years. He was also a talented artist and craftsman. He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years Anna (Gaschewa) Rajewski. He leaves his daughter Irene Provost and her husband Ron of West Springfield and a grandson Scott Provost. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11 am in Oak Grove Cemetery. No calling hours.
