Obituary

– Lillian A. (Tumminia) Krok, 82, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late August and Lilli (Piazza) Tumminia, she moved to Holyoke in 1960 and to South Hadley in 1987. Lillian was a customer service representative for WalMart. Previously she worked for the Jewish Nursing Home, Mt. St. Vincent Nursing Home, Holyoke Hospital, Valley Medical Labs and the former Zayre Department store in Chicopee. She enjoyed trips to the casino and contributing to St. Jude's Hospital and the Eternal Word Television Network. She was an active communicant of St. Patrick's Church. Lillian was also an Air Force veteran. She leaves two sons, Robert S. Krok, David Krok and his wife Darlene all of South Hadley, a brother, Joseph Tumminia of Brooklyn, two sisters, Prudence Alario of Syracuse, NY, Evelyn Muñoz of California, three grandchildren, David R. Krok, Jennifer A. Richard, Jason D. Krok, a great-grandson, Marshall S. Krok and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Stephanie M. Krok. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9am from the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, with a Mass in St. Patrick's Church at 10. The burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7pm.
