Lillian B. (Pieciul) Saj, 97, entered into eternal rest Friday, February 20, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Joseph and Tekla (Kiluk) Pieciul, she lived in Springfield for fifty-seven years before moving to Feeding Hills in 1974. Lillian worked for many years for the former Agway Egg Marketing Company in Springfield, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Polish American Club in Feeding Hills, the Woman's Polish Alliance Club in Springfield and a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Springfield. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen P. Saj in 1986, her grandson, Jaime S. Rivera in 2007, her son-in-law, Jaime Rivera in 2010, her sister, Helen Connor in 1991, and her brother, Edward Pieciul in 1995. She leaves a daughter, Carol (Saj) Rivera, a granddaughter, Linda (Rivera) Pacheco and a great-grandson, Xander Pacheco all of Feeding Hills. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10am from the AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street with a Mass in Our Lady of the Rosary Church at 11. The burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7pm. Donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
