Linda Ann
Scibelli
June 20, 1957 – February 19, 2026
Linda A. (Grassetti) Scibelli, 68, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Born in Springfield, she was a 1975 graduate of Agawam High School and a lifelong resident of the Springfield area. Linda worked for many years at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Agawam, where she dedicated herself to caring for others. Linda had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for her family. She cherished time spent together on spontaneous escapades and trips to Florida, creating memories that will be treasured forever. An avid PEZ collector, she eagerly anticipated the arrival of the Brimfield Fair each year. A devout animal lover, Linda adored her five ragdoll cats. In recent months, her greatest joy was spending time with her newest granddaughter, Amore, especially watching wrestling together — moments that brought her tremendous happiness. Linda was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Springfield. She was predeceased by her father, Anthony J. Grassetti, in 2020. Linda leaves her two daughters, Bianca J. Scibelli-Delgado and her husband, Santos Delgado, of Knoxville, TN, and Toni J. Scibelli of Springfield; her mother, Joyce (Fusco) Grassetti of Springfield; four brothers, Anthony F. Grassetti and his wife Maria of Agawam, Fiore J. Grassetti and his wife Gina of Hampden, Andrew J. Grassetti and his wife Sarah of Agawam, and Allan J. Grassetti and his wife Kelly of Agawam; her sister, Anna Maria Grassetti and her husband, Vincent Cimmino of Agawam; her stepmother, Sandra A. (Galok) Grassetti of Agawam; her three grandchildren, Memphis T. Scibelli, Giovanni J. Delgado, and Amore J. Scibelli; her former husband, Albert J. Scibelli; her longtime best friend and beloved aunt to her children, Patti McQuade of Longmeadow; along with many cherished nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Zhou and the entire team at the D'Amour Center for Cancer Care, as well as Baystate Hospice Services, especially her nurse, Julie, for their compassionate care, comfort, and support during Linda's illness. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home, 745 Cooper Street, Agawam. Relatives and friends are invited to meet on Friday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 123 William Street, Springfield, for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's memory to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA 01105. For online condolences, please visit www.curranjones.com .
