Linda J. (Provost) Tobey, 69, died Sunday May 10th at Mercy Hospital. She grew up in Springfield on Pine Street and was a parishioner at St. Joseph's Church on Howard Street. Linda graduated from Commerce High School, was a home health aide for many years and enjoyed taking care of people. She enjoyed life, always laughing and smiling and spending time with her family. Linda was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Loretta Provost and her husband Raymond Tobey. She leaves her children Theresa Vogel and her fiancé Daniel Daley of Chicopee, Tammy Trevino of TX and Loretta Tobey of Springfield, stepchildren Darlene Weaver and her husband Brian and Richard Tobey of TX, brothers Alfred Provost Jr. and his wife Sue of Springfield, Arthur Provost of Springfield and Paul Provost of Springfield, sisters Christine Provost of Springfield, Janet Beany and her husband Joe of Springfield, Dorisanne Thibodeau and her husband Steven of South Hadley and Pearl Provost of Springfield, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
