Lindsay J. Woloszyn

1979 – 2019

SOUTH HADLEY – On Wednesday April 3, we lost our sweet little Lindsay. The one who held us together with her sharp tongue, quick wit and huge heart. She told things how they were and was there the minute you needed her. Lindsay J. (Guerin) Woloszyn, 39, left our world with her loving family  by her side at Baystate Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Lindsay was born in Springfield and lived her whole life with spunk and humor in South Hadley. She was a 1997 graduate of South Hadley High School and received her bachelor's degree from Westfield State University.  She worked as an Academic Coordinator in the Math Department at Mt. Holyoke College. Lindsay was an avid shopper who always had a coupon when you needed one. She loved spending time with her amazing and supportive husband of 15 years, Christopher Woloszyn and their beautiful children, Nicholas and Lily. She leaves her loving parents Robert, her favorite work buddy, and Becki (Descant) Guerin, her number one shopping companion and her maternal grandmother, Joan Descant. She also leaves behind her loving sister and lifetime partner in crime Christy Parent, her brother-in-law Matt Parent and their children Scarlett and Macallen. She will always be remembered as loving and supportive to all her cousins, aunts and uncles, her best friend Kate and her close circle of friends.  Visiting hours for Lindsay will be held Sunday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley.  For more information please visit curranobrien.com .
