June 21, 1939 – January 9, 2020
Lois Mae Lackman, 80, passed away on January 9 th , 2020 after a long, courageous battle with kidney disease, with her loving family by her side. Born June 21 st 1939, the daughter of the late Raymond and Bertha (Huckins) Belville. She was also predeceased by her siblings Dwight Belville, Joanne Demassini, Caroline Hitchcock, Beverly Giordano and David Belville.
A graduate of Agawam High School, Lois was a resident of West Springfield for over 50 years. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed taking her children to Mittineague Park, tag saling in her younger years, and thrift shopping at Savers and going for rides in the country in her later years.
Lois leaves behind her husband of 62 years, George Lackman, 5 children; Cindy Bailey and her husband Bob of Springfield; Mark Lackman and his wife Lisa of Virginia, Mary Grodzicki and her husband Mark of West Springfield; George Lackman Jr. and his wife Karen of Ware, and Charles McGrevy and his wife Tina of South Hadley; as well as 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 25 th , 2020 at 3:00 pm at the Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, West Springfield, MA. Calling hours will precede the funeral on Saturday from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. For more information please go to curranjones.com.
