Lois T. (Petruzzello) Mastromatteo, 88, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center and into the waiting arms of her husband, Frank Mastromatteo Jr. who passed away in 1986. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Arthur and Marie "Grace" (Martignetti) Petruzzello, she was a longtime resident of Agawam, and later West Springfield. She attended the former Immaculate Conception School in West Springfield and was a 1953 graduate of Cathedral High School. Lois was a record clerk for the Agawam Police Department, retiring in 2003. She was a loyal, front row pew communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Agawam Golden Age Club Chapter 1. She loved dancing with her late husband and was an excellent cook. Lois enjoyed nothing more than feeding her family, especially at the holidays. She is survived by her four children: three sons, Frank Mastromatteo, III and his wife Toni, Arthur Mastromatteo all of West Springfield and Anthony Mastromatteo and his wife Stacey of Natick, and her daughter Angela Mastromatteo and her husband William Snow, III of Point of Rocks, MD. She is also survived by a brother, Arthur Petruzzello of Florida, and twelve grandchildren. She is predeceased by two sisters, Carmela Moccio and Marilyn Marshall. The funeral will be Saturday, November 26 at 9am from the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10am.
