Obituary

Lorette (Gazaille) Lacroix, 94, died peacefully Wednesday in Holyoke. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Rosario and Albina (Laroche) Gazaille, grew up in Holyoke and settled in South Hadley. She was a member of Perpetual Help Church and later St. Patrick's Church in South Hadley, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She worked as a seamstress for many years. Lorette was predeceased by her husband Albert Lacroix. She leaves three daughters Janice Lacroix and her partner Carline Trett of Holyoke, Patricia Lacroix and her partner Don Moreau of Agawam and Deborah Santos and her husband Tony of Springfield, her grandchildren Crista, Maria and Cassandra Cabanas, Ashley and Bill Kennedy of CT and Will and Monique Aldrich of NH, great grandchildren Ryan and Emma Kennedy, her nephew Ronald Choiniere and his wife Carol of Enfield and her niece Vivian VanKleek and her husband Bill. The funeral will be Saturday with a calling hour from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley followed by Mass in St. Patrick's Church at 11:30 am.
