Lorraine Denoncourt, 68, formerly of Agawam, MA died peacefully Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Farren Care Center in Turners Falls, MA. Lorraine was born July 24, 1949 to Jeannette L. (Deblois) Denoncourt and the late Roland E. Denoncourt. Lorraine grew up in Agawam and was a graduate of Agawam High School. She worked at the Sunshine Art Studio, Breck Shampoo Company and Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Lorraine is survived by her son Russell St. Pierre of Ware, MA, her two sisters, Denise Denoncourt of Feeding Hills, MA, Susan Collins and her husband Ted of Saratoga Springs, NY; two brothers, Roland J. Denoncourt of Westfield, MA and Daniel Denoncourt and his wife Lorraine of Southwick, MA. Lorraine was also predeceased by her sister in law Paula Denoncourt who passed away in November. She leaves many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Lorraine's family would like to thank the staff at the Farren Care Center and all of Lorraine's caregivers throughout the years for their compassionate care. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 9:00am with Liturgy in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10:00am followed by burial in Springfield Street Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00pm.
