Lucille A. Bertorello

East Longmeadow – Lucille A. (Palmer) Bertorello, 78, died peacefully Sunday afternoon surrounded by her loving family.  Lucille was born and grew up in Brooklyn NY and lived in Valley Stream, NY most of her life.  She recently moved to East Longmeadow to be with her daughter and her family.   For many years she worked in the Fashion Industry in New York City as a clothing designer and industry expert traveling internationally until her retirement at age 72. She leaves her husband George Bertorello; a daughter Stephanie A. Fitzgerald and her husband Francis and two grandchildren; Francis Fitzgerald III and Avery Fitzgerald.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday, August 17 ^th at 11:00am followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral home service Friday from 10:00 – 11:00am.  For more details please visit curranjones.com .
