Lucille L. Choquette
1924 – 2013

EAST LONGMEADOW – Lucille L. (Beauchesne) Choquette, 88, formerly of Holyoke died Sunday, January 13, 2013 in an East Longmeadow Nursing Home. Lucille was born in Chicopee and lived most of her life in Holyoke. She was predeceased by her husband Donald A. Choquette, and her brothers, Raymond and Alcide "Joe". She was an active member of Bethany Assembly of God where she taught Sunday School to inquisitive children, sang in the choir, and welcomed people at the door with her hugs. Family was everything to her, and she enjoyed hosting Sunday pot roast dinners and sleepovers with her grandchildren. She leaves two daughters Christine M. Newbert of East Longmeadow and Karen D. Sunny of Feeding Hills. She also leaves five grandchildren, Rochelle Newbert, Amanda, Erik and Benjamin Sunny and Lindsay (Newbert) Grim and two great granddaughters. The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 17, at 11:00am at Bethany Assembly of God Church, 580 Main Street, Agawam. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 10:00- 11:00 in the church. The Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
