Lucille M. Jones

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Lucille M. (Pepin) Jones, 87, died Friday in Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Lucille was born and raised in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. She came to the United States in 1960 and has lived in West Springfield since 1966. She retired from the Town of West Springfield's Tax Collectors Office, where she worked as a clerk. She leaves her husband Norman S. Jones, children Nathalie DeChristopher and her husband Tom, Mark Jones and fiancé Debbie Knapp, and Matthew Jones and his wife Chrysti; a brother Claude Pepin, his wife Denise and their son Stephane; a sister Therese Pepin and three grandsons Michael and Andrew DeChristopher and Alex Jones; and grandpuppies Eris and Oakley. A private funeral will be held at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
