WEST SPRINGFIELD – Lucille M. (Fillion) Lanoie, 72 of Park Street died Thursday at home. Lucille was born in St. Nazaire, Canada and lived in Springfield most of her life before moving to West Springfield eight years ago. Lucille was a devout Christian and ran her home like it was a Mission for anyone who needed her. Her husband Leo R. Lanoie died in 1985. She leaves her children Ronald Lanoie and his wife Pamela, Denise Lanoie and Suzanne Kilrain and her husband Branden. She also leaves behind her siblings Sr. Madeline Fillion, Helen Courriveau, Huguette Thiffault, Denise LeBreque, Claude, Paul and Jean Guy Fillion; five grandchildren Natalie Grace, Rachael, Katelynne, Harley and Christopher; three great grandchildren Carter, Abel and Delilah and many dear friends. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday at 11:00am with burial at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral home service on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00am. For more details please visit curranjones.com.
