Lynn E. Solek
1972 – 2022
Southwick – Lynn Elizabeth (Herbele) Solek, 49 died peacefully Thursday morning after a long and courageous battle. Lynn was born in Springfield, the daughter of Theodora (Siniscalchi) and the late David Herbele. She grew up in Southwick, graduating from Southwick High School in 1990 and worked as a Pharmaceutical Assistant for CVS over 20 years before taking the leap to a new job with St. Francis Hospital in 2020. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Church and grew up going to the Connecticut Shore, the beach has always held a special place in her heart. Lynn's true love was all things "dogs" especially Beau, and the late Cochese, Cooper and Jake. Besides her mother, she leaves a brother David Mark Herbele; a sister Dawn McBride; nieces and nephews Miranda, Nicholas, Madelyn Herbele and Persephone "Olive" McBride as well as Aunt and Godmother Linda Siniscalchi, Aunt Gloria Schietzelt, Uncle Richard Siniscalchi, and Uncle Robert Herbele. Following Lynn's wishes a green burial service (dogs are welcome) will be held in Wildwood Cemetery, Amherst on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at noon. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00pm. For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
