Madeline E. (LaRocque) Belisle, 91, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.  Born in Brookfield, Vermont, daughter of the late Florian and Cecile (Vigneault) LaRocque, she grew up and was educated in Brookfield and moved to Springfield, before moving to Agawam in 1966.  Madeline worked as a claim representative for Aetna Life Insurance Company.  She was a communicant of the former St. Theresa's Church and presently a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.  She enjoyed doing cross stiching, quilting and bowling. Her husband, Harvey R. Belisle died in 2005.  She leaves a son and his wife, Michael and Patricia Belisle of Agawam, a daughter and her husband, Denise and Joseph Zarlengo of Springfield, two brothers, Joseph "Gerry" LaRocque of Citrus Springs, FL, Paul LaRocque of Utah, a sister, Micheline LaRocque of Citrus Springs, FL, three grandsons, Scott, Eric and Ryan Belisle, a granddaughter, Daniella Staudacher, three great-grandsons, Jack, Carter and JJ and nieces and nephews.   She was predeceased by a brother, John LaRocque and two sisters, Suzanne Manning and Pauline Lopez.  Calling hours will be Wednesday from 8:30 – 9:30 am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street, followed by a Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10.  The burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
