Madeline M. Simpson

1938 – 2020

Agawam – Madeline M. Simpson, 82, died peacefully Friday evening in a local nursing home.  Madeline was born and raised in West Springfield and has lived in Agawam for the past 60 years.  She was a hairdresser for many years with the Sebastian's Hair Salon until her retirement in 2004.  She leaves her husband of 63 years, Clyde L. Simpson; three daughters and their spouses; Linda and Richard Gloster, Lori and Brian Keeley and Lisa and Terry Holloway; eight grandchildren; Shawn, Erinn, Megan, Carly, Kyle, Colleen, Casey, and Aiden and three great grandchildren Egan, Ava, and Brody.  A graveside service with masks and social distancing will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery Thursday, Dec. 31 at noon.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
