Marcia P. (Savoy) Bard, ascended into the journey of everlasting life, peacefully Monday April 1, 2024 in Sarasota, FL. Marcia was born in Springfield on June 2, 1953, daughter of the late Peter J. and Helen V. (Driscoll) Savoy. She attended the local Springfield school system, graduating in 1972. Things that she enjoyed in life were music, camping, making blankets, but most of all helping people whenever she could. Before retiring, Marcia worked at Mercy Hospital and Life Laboratories for more than 38 years. Marcia was a communicant of the former St. Anthony's Church in Agawam. She was the wife of the late Raymond Bard, who predeceased her in 2007. Their union of marriage spanned 31 years, eternally cherished by each other. Marcia is survived by her devoted son, Justin and his wonderful wife Tamara Bard of Amherst, a grandson, Noah, a granddaughter, Oona, her dear brother, Mark Savoy, her dear brother, Barry and his wife, Patricia Savoy all of Florida and many close friends and relatives, especially "the 4 pack". Calling hours are Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street from 9:30 - 10:30am followed by a Funeral Home Service at 10:30. The burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Springfield.
