Marcia (Binnenkade) Steadman, 88, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 5, 2024.  Marcia was born in New London, CT.  She grew up in Agawam's North End and was graduated from Agawam High School. Marcia spent most of her adult life in Agawam and Ferrisburgh, Vermont. She was recently predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Norman and her sister, Joan Callahan. She leaves her daughters and their husbands, Deborah and Dan Yorke, Wendy and Kevin Matys, and Susan and Wayne Tower.  She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Joseph DePalma , Zachary Matys, Katie Freund, Anna Arabian, Katie Yorke, and Sarah Tower.  She also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren, Anthony, Gianna, Charlotte, Rosalee, RJ, Andrew and Lorelai. Marcia is survived by her brother, Bob Binnenkade and her sister-in-law, Beverly. A lover of birds and flower gardening, Marcia was the quintessential homemaker. From Agawam, to North Carolina, Vermont or Florida, Marcia always said "home is wherever my family is". Friends and family are invited to a memorial service which will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Hope Community Church, 152 South Westfield St., Feeding Hills at 11 am.   A private burial will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc., at www.gsssi.org  For online condolence please visit www.curranjones.com
