Margaret "Peggy" J. (Hicks) Conlon, 94, died peacefully Saturday, November 5, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 14, 1922 in Chicopee Falls and has lived in Agawam since 1969. She was predeceased by her husband Richard of (58) years, in 2006. She leaves her son Richard J. Conlon Jr. and his wife Susan of Agawam, her daughter Margaret M. Nigro of Agawam and son in law Scott Nigro of West Suffield, CT, two sisters Lottie Tufts of East Springfield and Maude Rousseau of Fall River, five grandchildren Shayne, Mason, Jessica, Kaitlyn and Benjamin and a great granddaughter Aubree. She also leaves her best friend and caregiver Charles Giles (Her Sunshine).And several nieces and nephews.She also leaves her furry companion Josie who she loved and has brought her joy and happiness the last two years. The family would like a special thanks to go out to Ann Marie and Sheileen at Baystate VNA and Hospice for their compassionate care. The funeral home service will be Thursday at 11 am at AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours are Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
