Margaret E. Dexter
1925 – 2011

WILBRAHAM – Margaret Elizabeth (Shover) Dexter, 86 of Wingate of Wilbraham died Friday surrounded by her loving family. It is with great sadness that her family announces her passing. Her sweet smile will be missed by all. She was born, June 15, 1925, in Orange, VT the daughter of Urban and Emma Shover. She married the late Everett Dexter in 1950 and relocated to Southwick in 1962. She worked for the Southwick Public Schools and loved sewing, knitting, baking and caring for her family. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her first born son Paul and two sisters Emily and Freda. She leaves her beloved children Joe and Lenore Dexter of Tucson, Darrell Dexter of Nebraska, Roxanna Wheelock and her husband John of Ludlow and Dianna Dexter of Westfield. She also leaves four sisters Irma, Ida, Doris and Barbara; ten grandchildren Jaime, Joey and his wife Angela, Andrea, Sarah, Mary, Tyler, Brianne, Andy, Aime and her husband Alan and Anna; and seven great grandchildren Joseph, Sammy, Daryn, Evan Katherine, Aubrey and Natalie. Visiting hours for Margaret will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
