Margaret"Peggy"(Coughlin) Dow, 97 of Agawam passed away on Sunday evening surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was the daughter of the late Thomas "Tom" Coughlin and Mary (O'Brien) Coughlin and was born in Springfield on April 23, 1921. She was predeceased by her husband, the love of her life, Donald Dow. Peggy leaves behind her loving children; Karen Wilcox and her husband Raymond of Suffield, Donna Dow of Suffield, Kathy Mancini and her husband Michael of Feeding Hills, and her son Jim Dow and his wife Julie of Westfield, her grandchildren James Wilcox and his wife Katlyn, Andrew Mancini, Dan Mancini and his wife Rachael, Carrie Conklin, Sam Mancini, Emily Conklin, Erin Dow, Tom Dow; her sister Barbara (Coughlin) Moreau and many loving nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Bernard J. Coughlin and his wife Joan (Backus) Coughlin, her sister Helen (McCarthy) Coughlin and her husband Jack McCarthy and her brother-in-law Romeo Moreau. Her family was the center of her life. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and in her later years with her sisters and sister-in-law. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Heritage Hall East who provided such loving care for Peggy for the past four years. Visiting hours will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.
