Margarita M. Pabon

1932 – 2017

Springfield – Margarita (Mulero) Pabon, 85, died Thursday at home surrounded by her loving family and caregivers.  She was born in Puerto Rico and has lived in Springfield most of her life.  She was always smiling and joking around, loved to go to the casino and Bingo and was an avid painter.  Her husband Jaime Pabon died in 2010. She leaves her children Carmen Calderon, her husband Emil; Jose Pabon, his wife Nydia and Rene Pabon.  She also leaves 25 grandchildren 40 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  Besides her husband Margarita was predeceased by a daughter Pauline and three sons Mario, Edgar and Jaime Jr.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 10am-11am.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.
