Marie C. (Stevens) Cavallon

1965 – 2016

AGAWAM – Marie C. (Stevens) Cavallon, 51, died peacefully Monday in Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.  Marie was born in Springfield, graduated from Cathedral High School in 1983, and has lived in Agawam for the past 19 years.  She worked as a Dental Assistant for Flagship Dental in Longmeadow and worked along the side of Dr.Chris Smith for 30 years, and loved going to work because it was like everyone was her family .  Marie was active with her daughter's baton twirling  team and dance program at the Academy of Artistic Performance.She loved her horse Chexy and loved reining with the National Reining Horse Association.  She leaves her husband Gregory  V. Cavallon; daughter Jamie-Lyn Cavallon; brother Marty Stevens; in-laws Jack and Susan Cavallon and sister-in-law Karen Stringer and  brother-in-law Scott Stringer.  Visiting hours will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  A private funeral will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church with burial at the convenience of the family.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Griffin's Friends, 280 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
