Marie L. (Pinatti) Jacobs, 83, passed aways peacefully on September 19, 2026 in Springfield, MA. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Marie was born December 5, 1942 to her parents the late George and Katherine (Zerra) Pinatti. She was also predeceased by the “love of her life” her husband Stevenson (Jake) Jacobs on November 6, 2007. Sadly, her children Thomas and Tina as well as grandchildren Danielle and Eric predeceased Marie in life. Marie was an amazing cook, and in her Agawam, and Alaska homes, neighbors loved the aromas coming outside since they knew she would always send some over because that is who she was. Her truly greatest pleasure was exploring the islands of Hawaii with Jake. After each trip they would share stories of the “Great Adventures” they would enjoy. Her infectious laugh will be missed mostly by her children George Foley and wife Krista, Sean Foley and wife Christy, Kathrine Malmborg and husband Rick, and Mary Sherry and husband Thomas. Marie cherished her grandchildren Samatha, Anthony, Angelo, Michael, Sean Jr, Adam, Lindsay, Patrick and Sarah, and Sean McCarthy. Her legacy will continue on with her great grandchildren, Brinley, McKenzie, Kamden, Aubrey, Sutton, Owen, William, Henry and Madelyn. In recent years she lived with her beloved sisters, Gloria Gates and Maureen Pinatti who took great care of her. Some of Marie’s most fun memories were catching up with her cousins and their families and reminiscing about the good old days. Her family Sunday dinners, and epically fun summer barbecues at her homes where everyone was welcome, will always be remembered as a great time. But most of all, her beautiful smile will be carried in the hearts of all of the lives whom she touched. Her family takes solace in knowing she and Jake are hand in hand walking the beaches of Hawaii, enjoying the fresh fruit, and the ocean breezes. Calling hours are Friday from 9-10am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Funeral Home Service at 10.
