Marie R. Lungarini

1930 – 2020

West Springfield – Marie R. (Pagenkoph) Lungarini, 90, formerly of City View Ave. died Saturday at CareOne at Redstone in East Longmeadow.  Marie was born in Springfield and has lived in West Springfield most of her life.  She was an avid bowler, playing in leagues at the Agawam and West Springfield Bowl. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.  She was predeceased by her husband Renzo Lungarini died in 1996.  She leaves her two sons Wayne and Gail Lungarini of Feeding Hills and Larry and Anne Lungarini of Feeding Hills.  She also leaves four grandchildren, Jill (Lungarini) and Stephen Pelkey of Southwick, Julie (Lungarini) and Christopher Vafides of Carver, MA., Samantha Lungarini and Jeremy Lungarini of Feeding Hills, along with her cherished great grandchildren, Jacob Pelkey, Evan, and Avery Vafides.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to the D'Amour Center for Cancer Care.
