Marilyn O. (Ainsworth) Brown, 84, formerly from Westfield, Wilbraham and West Springfield passed away gracefully after a long illness of dementia on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Born in Acushnet, MA, daughter of the late James and Elsie (Isherwood) Ainsworth, Marilyn graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield in 1961. She went to Holyoke Community College and received her degree in Interior Design in the 1980’s which lead to the co-purchase of Earle’s Decorating on Harkness Ave in East Longmeadow in the early 1990’s. The business was later transferred over as Earle’s Interiors on Bliss St in the Longmeadow Shops. Marilyn leaves behind her high school sweetheart and husband of 62 years, Bill Brown of Agawam, and daughter Susan Brown and partner Brian Lundy of Venice, FL. There are no calling hours. The service will be private.
