Obituary

– Marjorie R. (Brigham) Milnes, 91, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Marjorie was born in West Springfield, daughter of the late Frederic and Elsie (Roberts) Brigham. She was a 1943 graduate of Rockville High School in CT, married John S. Milnes in 1953 and moved to South Hadley. Marjorie retired as a secretary to the superintendent of production at Western Mass. Electric Co. She was formerly active with the South Hadley Girl Scouts & Brownies and a member of the former South Hadley Falls Congregational Church. Her husband, John, predeceased her in 1995. She leaves two daughters, Jane Seiffert and her husband Douglas of Stafford Springs, and Melanie Boulais and her husband Eric of South Hadley; a brother, Thomas Brigham of Worcester, four grandchildren, Stuart & Victoria Seiffert and Elijah & Hannah Boulais; three great grandchildren, Bryce Rabideau and sisters Julie & Adysin Seiffert, and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Brigham and two sisters, Bernice Gagne and Eileen Clark. A memorial service will be held at a later date with burial at the convenience of the family. Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home is in charge. Donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew St., Spfld, MA or to the Ronald McDonald House, 34 Chapin Terr., Spfld, MA.
