Marjorie V. (Normandeau) Wilmes, 87, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at home.  Born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Arthur and Hazel (Ewen) Normandeau, she lived in Feeding Hills since 1965.  She was a member of the Pataconk Yacht Club in Chester, CT and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Wilmes in 2021 and a son, Steven A. Wilmes in 2016 and a sister, Jean Gurley.  She leaves a brother and his wife, Richard D. and Connie L. Normandeau of Charlestown, IN, her former daughter-in-law, Karen Mendes of North Providence, RI, and two grandchildren, Holly Wilmes and Allison Wilmes both of North Providence, RI. The funeral will be Friday at 9am from the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOMES, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10. The burial will follow in Springfield Street Cemetery.
