WEST SPRINGFIELD – Marlene L. (Manley) Fortin, 67, of Park Ave CT, died Tuesday in Mercy Hospital. Marlene was born in Springfield, to the late Raymond and Marion Manley, and has lived in West Springfield most of her life. A longtime cook, she worked at Powers Café and various other restaurants in the area. She leaves her husband Richard A. Fortin Sr. two children Richard A. Fortin Jr. and his wife Kaye of Eau Claire, WI and Diane Fortin and her wife Deb Richard of West Springfield; two brothers James Manley and his wife Joanne of Westfield; Donald Manley of West Springfield; a sister Beverly Kerbs of Texas; a sister in law Joan Manley of West Springfield and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers William and Stephen Manley; sister in law Kathy Manley; and her grandson Matthew Fortin. A private funeral will be held and the West Springfield Curran-Jones is handling all arrangements. For more details please visit curranjones.com.
